Comics Buyer's Guide #1646 started hitting stores and mailboxes this week, and has some great things to say about DEATH WALKS THE STREETS #0.
William Insignares' COMIC BOOKS GONE WILD column this month (Page 82) is a run down of the must-have variants from Wizard World Chicago. DEATH WALKS THE STREETS #0 (Wizard World Chicago Exclusive) was one of William's top two picks from the convention, stating that "It has quality art and intense story telling." In addition, he points out that the low production run of the variant (333 copies) makes it a potential earner on the collectible front. For the full article and review, grab a copy of CBG #1646.
Now, if you want to be one of the lucky 333 to own a copy of the exclusive...head over to MerchDirect where you can still snag a copy at the same convention price! Click here to get yours now!
Comics Buyer's Guide is "the world's longest-running magazine about comics." To get a copy, hit your local bookstore, or visit http://www.cbgxtra.com
Dorkgasm.com has a new article about the Death Walks the Streets project today.
"While rewriting a screenplay is business as usual for the film scene, rewriting it to encompass a comic book prequel that was based on the original screenplay is an altogether new and exciting venture."
David Niall Wilson of Macbreink.com recently caught up with Death Walks the Streets' Efisia Fele for an in-depth interview. The piece entitled "EFISIA FELE: Acting, Screenwriting, Music - Death Walks the Streets" is now online, and delves into Efisia's past and future projects - and what's in-store for readers and viewers as she continues stepping into the role of DWTS' Danielle Dante.
The line between comics and film becomes a little bit blurrier with the first installment of Death Walks the Streets: New Marshall Stories. An all-new series of internet videos that tie directly into the Death Walks the Streets Comic Books (and soon motion pictures), the clips will include video blogs, diaries, and other surprises all set within the DWTS World. The first installment is a video blog from Danielle Dante (played by Efisia Fele ) taking place the morning of Death Walks the Streets #0. Check out the clip below, and stay tuned for more.
If you have any photo or video of yourself that's Death Walks the Streets-related, please send it our way. We've gotten a few new images recently and would like to add them to our new reader/viewer/friends gallery.
